Cleanse Journey Day 9
Day 9, the battle has been won! All the difficult days have pasted and now it’s a slow transition to a new normal. It just so happens this Day was Christmas (New Years/End of the Winter Solstice/last day of Hanukkah). Is this what your dinner appetizers looked like? Probably not, however, this is our new normal.
Today we are allowed to bring back meat such as chicken and turkey. Veggies of all kinds are permitted and rice as well. Having said that, Christmas dinner was different than any in the past put healthiest by far.
White rice, roasted Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes, black eyed peas and slow cooked chicken breast. Delicious! That’s all I can say about this one, and for dessert a homemade pudding. The wife’s new specialty, utilizing avocados, bananas, raw cacao, and unsweetened coconut milk. Adorned with pomegranate seeds and blueberries it was simply…flavorlicious (yes, I just made that up).
